They do say that the most precious item one could have if stranded on a desert island would be a fishing rod and without doubt when you are stood knee deep in the stunning Indian Ocean yards from one of the islands or atolls that make up the stunning Maldives this fact certainly makes sense. Fish appear to be in abundance and spinning a lure whilst standing in the luxuriously warm water dissolves time away allowing your mind to drift, imagining Robinson Crusoe could actually be watching your every move. Slowly retrieving the large feathery lure almost robotically ends abruptly with a sharp tug that brings you to life in a flash, lifting the rod and the fight you sought so much begins!

From the moment the plane touches down at Male Airport this adventure can be as calm or as hectic as you wish to make it. Certainly an ideal opportunity for anglers to take their wives or partners and enjoy a mix of fine fishing combined with a proper period of relaxation.
